Guidelines for selecting heat-reducing tinted films
The following are guidelines for selecting suitable heat-reducing tinted film for your car :
  1. The thickness of the tinted film must not be too thin. In general, the appropriate thickness is about 1.50 MIL (1 MIL-25 micro). The texture of the film must be soft, not hard, or brittle.
  2. The film must be transparent, not hazy, or foggy, and must not be turn to purple after 3-6 months. You can test it by folding the film sheet 2-3 times and look through the film at the sun; purple / red color must not be visible.
  3. The degree of heat-reducing capability of the tinted film is indicated by the specification (% Total solar energy rejected) and Ultra Violet ray (UV) index. Most tinted films of various brands are categorized according to this specifications.
  4. The film must be produced according to high manufacturing standards. The film must have proper labeling printed (in black ink, not white) on the film sheet to indicate the brand, model / number, manufacturer's name / place, logo and product code.
  5. The manufacturer must issue an official warranty card which specify the standard warranty terms / conditions and the applicable warranty period.
